Trance is much like a cross between house and techno, characterized by long track lengths, upbeat tempo, repeating melody’s, and long build-ups, aiming to create a "trance” in the listener.

This makes trance an elite genre to listen to while working. We find it aids in putting you into a “flow state”.

And finally, our favorite trance artist: Gareth Emery. His “Laserface” series has arguably the best visuals of any EDM concerts ever. Incredibly envious of anyone who went to one in-person.
